My Roots
I grew up with the dream of wanting to perform. I was surrounded by the music that was present throughout my childhood and was exposed to the theatrics very early on. I have always loved performing - it's a way to express myself and let my emotions take flight. I began performing in plays throughout elementary school and middle school, which gave me the exposure and taste I needed to figure out what I was meant to do. I have been in choirs all my life (elementary school, church, middle school, high school, and college). I was also in an auditioned choral group of sixteen my senior year of high school. In addition, I have taken voice lessons for the past four years. In my sophomore year of high school, I competed in the National American Miss Pageant in which I won second runner-up for talent. I have taken multiple performance related courses throughout college, a few voice-over courses, ran my own radio segment through Lute Air Student Radio, and I attended IMTA (International Models and Talent Association) in which I competed in singing, acting, voice acting and modeling competitions. I'm a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University with a BA in theatre and a music minor and am currently represented by Seattle Talent and Manikin Talent Agency.
